DESIGN PLATES
FRIDA KAHLO DREAMS
A film project I designed based on the life of Mexican artist Frida Kahlo. A surreal film which required colourful designs influenced by the Day of the Dead and imbued with symbolism.
Costumes were then made by a team of Costume Assistants. seen in SHOWS
2016.
THE CAUCASIAN CHALK CIRCLE
A set of costume plates inspired by the Brecht play. The theme I followed was a "Dystopian Renaissance". The textures (wool) and prints (Michelangelo etc) reflect the status of the characters.
I made the costume for the character "Simon". This can be seen in SPECIALIST MAKES.
